Moon Time

 

I am lucky. A few times a year my friend Barbara http://www.soulproprietor.org/autumn-2015-offerings/ 

hosts  a Feeding the Fire ceremony in honor of all woman large and small and their moon time. I wished I had had this ceremony when I was a young teen. But it is never too late to learn about gifting the amazing magic of your menstrual blood to the earth.

We sang, told stories of all the women that came before us, tied prayer bundles, ground corn and lavender, braided hair and I loved seeing the youngest ones drum and do cartwheels on the lawn.

Treat and re-treat yourself when you are on your moon !
