Last weekend I went on my first Forest Medicine Walk, guided by June Blue Spruce lhttp://www.junebluespruce.com/.
It is difficult to write about it. I want to share it and I want to keep it to myself. It was immensely beautiful. I felt deeply loved and held by the forest. In our preparation for it the day before I journeyed into the being of a forest mouse.
Toward the end of my medicine walk the mouse sat in the middle of the trail. Unencumbered, not moving quickly, she invited me, what felt like endless time, to observe her. A rush of deep joy passed after we met.
