Raku !
I've been obsessed with more pottery and in particular the fun around the fire with raku. Got my 1st Raku kiln via Craig's list and found some friendly folks to help fire it up !

Slow Sex -excellent book
Currently I am reading a fabulous book by Diana Richardson also titled 'Slow Sex" -just like Nicole Daedons' book with the same title: http://www.powells.com/book/slow-sex-the-art-craft-of-the-female-orgasm-9780446567183/62-0
I do find this book has more depth and is less about a specific technique but I deeper change of misconceptions and patterns. Although Daedons' simple method is also very useful to connect sexually in a new way.

My Show ' Magic" opening on May 5th in Seattle !
Magicians
come to us in two ways.

the kind that are teachers who let us understand real magic.

kind of magic that is around us every day if we only open our senses to it.

beauty of getting older for me, is that I've gotten more and more attuned to
the latter kind of magic

Inspiration
Spend three short days with my wonderful friend Jill and her son Evander and my daughter on Whidbey Island. We always rent the same place. Both Jill and I love time on the beach or in the woods, lookign for rocks, lichen, mushrooms, spending hours crouching low to the ground and using our macro lenses to take the "same" picture.
We also both don't mind eating our meals , literally squeezing our plates between whatever project we brought along to keep our hands busy. This year we are fully engrossed in working in clay.
It's always blissful out there and always too short.
